Orlando for Lads to Leaders

After spending the day at Disney we were all pretty pooped.

Friday we all got up and headed to the pool. Tyler got in the pool for the first time in his life and of course LOVED it. He just splashed and splashed. It was so cute. It was pretty windy though, so we didn't stay out too long, the pool was heated so it was warm, but when you got out, you were freezing. So we went ahead and went in. The rest of the day was spent just hanging out and getting some good cousin and D and Nana lovin before the competions to began. It started with Austin's bible reading, which was so stinkin cute! He did a great job and was definitely the cutest! Then we headed to puppets. The kids enjoyed that. Then off to the awards ceremony. It was late and the kids were tired, so we didn't get to stay till the end, but we stayed for the most part. Saturday morning up pretty early to make it to Hannah and Savannah's speeches. They did a great job! Then we headed to Austin's song leading, he doesn't have a shy bone in his body. He lead Jesus Loves Me, like a champ! David had to judge guys song leading, so he wasn't able to come. Then we all went to eat at Bahama Breeze. It was really good and a really fun atmosphere. We had a great time there. It was just so fun to be together and GG went to eat with us too! We celebrated David's birthday. After we left there, got some ice cream and then headed back to the hotel for the awards ceremony. But before the ceremony we took some pictures in front of the hotel. They actually turned out really good for the most part. There were some pictures that were just hilarious. It's not that easy to get 3 kids to all look and smile for the picture (at the same time). So, I'll blog with some of those pictures soon!! The awards ceremony was fun and all the kids did great. We had lots of winners which is also very fun. Then David took Austin swimming and we all headed back to the hotel. We stayed up till about midnight or after just relaxing and getting our last little chatting in! They had to leave real early in the morning cause Dad had to get to work that afternoon. We had a blast the whole weekend and it was a much needed break, just wish that BB could have been there with us! ;)

Sunday was Easter and David's birthday. We got up and went to the church service they had and got ready for a relaxing day.

Thanks so much to mom and dad. We had a great weekend and were so glad we all got to be together (minus BB). ;(
