A weekend to remember...

Well, this weekend was crazy busy!! We had a great time, but were oh so tired Monday morning! This is how it all unfolded:

Friday night after work we had Eliott's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. What a blast we had!!
Eliott and his "really good friend" that he hung out with the whole time!
The Trinh kids' singing

Happy Birthday to Eliott!

Luke sure did enjoy that blue icing
And of course the classic of Millie I couldn't resist!
And who can go to Chuck E. Cheese and not play the games... Surely not my husband! He was so proud of his tickets, although with about 600 tickets (equaling approx $20.00) I think he could get a plastic spider ring. :) (Really not that bad, but pretty much!) It's the fun that counts though, right?

After that fun we went to the church to listen to a speaker that was coming in to talk to the youth. It was really good, but hard to sit still after a whole day. Then on to the house where some of our "youth" kids came to watch a movie. And I didn't even fall asleep, because I was folding laundry!! :)

On to Saturday:

David jumps out of bed at 6:15 AM because he is so excited it's his birthday and we are going to some garage sales! Not really what I had in mind at (6:15!) but oh well, it's his birthday. So we go to a few places and find a few things and then head back home cause we're exhausted! I take a nap and he trys to fix the lawn mower he bought at a sale, but couldn't so ended up taking it back. Meanwhile, I decide to get my lazy self up and clean up a little, make lunch and get ready for the party.

Our plan was to have a skate party from 4-6 and then back to our house for icecream cake, but they "forgot" to tell me at Skate Haven, that they had a private party from 5-7 and that it would be closed, so we didn't get to go skating, but we did go bowling instead. It was still fun, but just a little frustrating. Oh well.

We then went to East Coast wings, picked up some food and brought it to the house to eat dinner. Alison and Byron's birthday's were also coming up, so we threw them all a party together.

This is the eating crowd that had to sit on the floor cause we don't have table space! :)

The 3 stooges blowing out their candles, isn't it such a cute pic?

And by 10:30 Saturday night this is about how we all felt. Precious little Francesca had had enough and so had we!

So Sunday, we had a great day at church, then had a fun meal at Texas Roadhouse with David's dad. Then home to take a nap. Allie stayed with us for Saturday and Sunday so we napped and watched "Flushed Away". Then we went on a walk and back to church for worship and finger foods with Brewer Road (a Hispanic congregation). Then back home to bed!! We were exhausted but smiling from a wonderful weekend!!
