February's Funnigans...

So I guess it starts out with a late January surprise party for Barbara! Boy was she surprised. It was amazing that the whole thing got pulled off without her knowing because it was quite the production, but Jeff (her husband) did an awesome job and had it all planned to a "T" with some help especially from his sister! It was a great night and I think everyone went home tired from pure exhaustion from having to hide this secret for so long!
Then Ashley had her baby, Jake (see earlier post).
Then the next weekend we had a birthday party for Bekah. We went to some friends house and had appetizers and just a great time laughing, eating, playing games, and just all being together. It was definitely a fun night!!

Friday night, we (the youth group) had a Sweetheart dinner for all the older people at our church. I think there were about 4o people there. It was an Italian dinner theme complete with Salad and bread sticks from Olive Garden. Cody and Karen (friends from church) totally helped us out and helped David organize the whole thing, and without them, it would have be completely crazy!! So, so much thanks goes to them. Kay Lynn also came up that night to help in the kitchen which was also a big help. And then all the other friends that helped cook Lasagna at their home so that we could have them all ready at the same time. Man, it takes a production to put on a dinner!! So thank you so much to all of you that helped out with everything. They had a great time and so did we! My creative husband even had a digital fire going on stage. It was awesome! Then Saturday was Valentines Day. David and I didn't really do much but be lazy and just hang out. I did make him breakfast in bed though. Which really never works out because he doesn't like eating right when he wakes up, so he usually gets up and makes his way down stairs and then eats his breakfast, which by that time it's usually cold and probably not so good, but it's the thought that counts. I made french toast with powdered sugar hearts on them. Cheesy, I know, but it was cute if I must say so myself. ;)

Then this past weekend we took the kids to Winterfest in Gatlinburg, Tenn. We had 27 in all, that went. We had a great time. If you don't know what winterfest is, it's basically a huge youth rally with about 13,000 youth in attendance. Of course they have 2 sessions of about 6,500 people so you can imagine the worship that goes on, it's amazing! The theme this year was Love God, Love Others (L1, L2). I was a little nervous this year because we were bringing Ty with us and I was staying in a room with 3 other girls. But of course he was great, slept through the night both nights and actually we all woke him up when we were getting ready and making lots of racket, so I was very proud of him. He was a trooper on Saturday and let me drag him around all day. And by Sunday afternoon on the way home, he was ready to get out of that seat!! I could occupy him pretty well, but about the last 20 minutes he wasn't happy and was ready to be home. I would say he was pretty tired because he slept from like 5-7 when we got home and then got up ate, took a bath, and was back in bed by 9:00 and slept till 7:00 this morning. I fed him and then put him in bed with David and he said they didn't wake up till 10:30. SO he was definitely tired!
It was a great trip! I think the kids enjoyed it and we were thankful we got to go and be apart of it!

So here are a few random pictures of what Tyler's doing now: He's totally sitting up by himself and loving it! He loves to be able to do things on his own and he wants to always be in the middle of everything, so now that he is sitting up it's all within reach! ;) He's pretty much eating stage 1 baby food. He doesn't eat a whole jar at once, maybe half, if that, but he doesn't seem to enjoy something different. (I think this was peas in this picture) The drool... oh the drool it's crazy. It just pours out of his mouth making his chin completely chapped. But he also loves spitting! It's his new favorite trick he can occupy himself with that for a pretty long time. He has discovered his bottom lip. He loves to stick it out for no apparent reason, but it's the cutest thing in the world!! And he is so into the bouncer now. Seriously it looks like he's jumping on a trampoline he goes so high. We got to skype with Brittany and Ashley this week and they both saw how he loves that thing!!

The squash picture... We'll as you know I LOVE squash and vidalia onions, but no one else in my household does, so yes, I ate the WHOLE pan for dinner one night! I love summer time and fresh veggies and I just thought this picture was too pretty to not include it. ;) Random, I know!

Now we are anxiously awaiting Nana to arrive on Saturday!! Life is beginning to get crazy again, but a good crazy!! ;)

Grandma and Grandpa come to visit...

And of course we didn't take any pictures with them... What in the world? I don't know why I can't get it together. Sorry we didn't get any pictures with yall but you did manage to take some cute ones of Tyler! ;)
Grandma and Grandpa Cramer left Ohio Monday afternoon and got to our house around 12:30 or 1:00 am (I'm not exactly sure when because I was sound asleep in my bed!) So, Tuesday morning I woke them up nice and early with a "special" delivery. Ty was up and I had to go to work, so perfect, I knew grandma wouldn't mind!
Tuesday they just hung out, took a walk, and played all day. That night we all went out to Longhorn for dinner. (Sarah works there, so we waited till she got off work so we could all eat together) Then that night we just hung out a little and then all went to bed.
Wednesday, I went to work, and then played. We all met at Pancho Villa (our new favorite Mexican) for lunch. After lunch, I had to go back to work and they had to head back to Ohio, but they obviously took a little detour and went shopping. Cause when I got back home, there were a box of diapers, a new walker, and diet cokes in the fridge ;) They're so good to us. (They also brought us probably enough formula that we won't ever have to buy it for Tyler again) WOW!
So sad it was a short visit, but we were so glad they got to come! We love and miss yall!!
So now we're looking forward to Nana's visit at the end of the month... Tyler doesn't know how blessed he is to have such wonderful grandparents... But he's soon find out, I'm sure! ;)
And Yay we got to SKYPE with Ashley and Jake last night... It was so much fun!! :) And the boys had fun meeting each other for the first time!

Kylie and Sweet Potatoes...

First of all... Happy 5 Month Old Birthday to Tyler!!! I CAN'T believe it's been 5 months since we had that precious boy!! Man how time flys. He seriously is one of the best babies ever. He has the sweetest deposition and is just so alert and happy, most of the time. Everyone says that he is definitely spoiling me, but I tell them, that's just way I make 'em. ;) I'm sure I will be eating those words soon enough, but for now, just let me think that! ;)
Saturday afternoon I decided to let Tyler try some baby food. We started with Sweet Potatoes and boy did he love them! He just ate them and ate them. It was hilarious. I think we are going to try Peas or Green Beans today, so we'll see how that goes! ;) I have a video but it takes too long to upload it on here, so we'll have to save that for another day. But here are some cute pics of the event.
And we've also started letting Kylie play with Tyler. We really haven't done much of that, mostly because I wouldn't let David do it because Kylie mostly stays out side and honestly I didn't want her bringing in dust and hair everywhere when he was so little. But now that I feel like he's a little older I was ok with it. They loved eachother and Kylie is so sweet with him! She just laid there and let Tyler pull and push on her. Kylie then wanted to play a little so she started licking and "petting" him with her little paw until she accidently pawed him in the face, of course I freaked out and then he started crying (probably because of me yelling) but he was fine. David did give Kylie a little spankin, but they were all fine after the fact. ;) I got a quick picture right before the event happened and I'm sure you can tell which one it is. Overall, it was a fun time for them and I'm sure when Tyler is up and walking they will become even better "friends!"
Tyler is really coming alive these days. He's pretty much sitting straight up by himself, I still want pillows around the back and the sides of him just in case he tips over, but he' s doing really well! He's also starting to show interest in rolling over. He can pretty much do it, but he gets up on his side and the arm that is under him prevents him from doing it because he kind of sticks it behind his back and that serves for balance, not letting him roll over, so if we tuck his arm under him he can do it all by himself. It's so cute. He's also started crunching those legs in like he's trying to get up on his knees, but he just doesn't have the coordination down quite yet, but it won't be long... And oh the slobber! He is definitely a slobber monster and wants EVERYTHING in his mouth. He even chews on his tongue which is hilarious because it looks like he's chewing food or something, but I know there's nothing in there. It's so cute! He did this a while back but then quit doing it for a while but now it's back.. He LOVES spitting. Not these cute little bubbles, forceful spitting where spit is flying out of his mouth, it is so funny to watch him!! It's just hilarious! He's also found his feet/toes. He doesn't really care about them when he's laying on his back, but when he's sitting up he loves to reach down and grab them, just another precious thing he does. (Can you tell that I love him to pieces???, probably not huh?) I will try to get pictures of all of the above, so you can see what I'm talking about. I'll get right on that. :)
Okay... So that's most of the tricks our precious little 5 month old is doing!!! :)

He has arrived...

Jacob Steven Williams that is! Ashley had him last night around 7:00, she wasn't due till February 22nd, but he decided he didn't want to wait that long! She might just have an impatient little one on her hands! But he was ready because he was healthy and perfect! I am lucky enough to have 2 best friends in Birmingham, so while one was having the baby the other (aka Kelly) was texting me a play by play. Seriously, she's pretty awesome because I'm sure I was bugging the mess out of her, but I just couldn't stand not being there. So, I did kind of feel like I was there, you're the best, thanks Kelly!!
So, most of these pictures are from Kelly's blog, but I had to post them too so they would be included in my book.
He's precious and only 6lbs 1 oz, 19 1/2 inches long... So a teeny tiny little thing!! I can't wait to get my hands on him!!
Mommy, Daddy, and baby are doing great. Ash said he did good last night, although she didn't get much sleep cause, those hospital beds just aren't that comfy. So hopefully when she gets home it will be much better! So... Here he is.

Day by Day..

So nothing really new has happened here lately. We've just been doing our thing trying to stay warm!! It was 14 degrees on my way to work this morning..BRRRRR!!

Tuesday late afternoon we had snow!! It was gorgeous! Little flakes started falling on my way to get Tyler from the sitters and once I got him and we were headed to the house, it was pouring snow. Huge flakes that were so pretty! It was so fun to see everything slowly start to become white. David decided he wanted to do a little skiing, so instead of borrowing someones skis he wanted to make his own, and it did it quite well, I must say. ;) I didn't get to see him do it cause he didn't start till about 10p.m. and I was getting Tyler to bed, but a few of our friends videoed him, so I got to see that.

Here are a few pictures of Tyler enjoying his "rice". He did really good eating that night, he ate all that I gave him, then took a bath and then ate a 2oz bottle. I laid him in bed (cause he didn't want me to rock him) at 9:00 and he didn't wake up till 8:00am!!! Cereal did him good that night. But then last night we did the same routine, but instead of the 2oz bottle he ate 4 oz and woke up at 3:00 and had 7oz!!! That's the most he's ever eaten, I guess he's going through a little growth spurt.. Who knows? We're going to start veggies really soon!! (Actually as soon as I find the time to get to the grocery to buy them!)

And also, he's started sitting up on his own!!! It's precious. It's not quite to the point where I will leave him sitting there all by himself, but I probably could. Just sometimes he leans to the front or to the left or right, but he usually catches himself. It's precious! He was a little bear last night for church since it was like 20 degrees, and I could have just eaten him up. He looked so cute! ;)

So that is the story for now. Not much going on in our world.. Which is kind of nice for a change. ;)
