Last weekend in March

Man how time flys. We had a very low key weekend, but it was great. Friday night we went to the Chunn's house to eat and hang out. Then Saturday we woke up to rain and freezing weather. A very rude awaking since the past week was beautiful. So David's soccer game was cancelled. We went to Luke's 3rd birthday party and boy did he have fun! Here's a pic of him and David jumping in the bouncy thing.

Then we went home, cuddled up and watched a movie for the rest of the afternoon! What a fun day. That night we went to Chilli's with some friends. Bryan and Candace (in the pic, who also just got engaged!) and also Brian and Shanna, but they had to leave a little early cause Brian had to work, so they missed the photo opt, but there will definitely be more.

Sunday was church and then that night the youth group came over for pizza and a movie. Life is good!

I was also going to add my 15 week belly picture. :)

Inlaws....

Whoever said anything bad about inlaws obviously didn't have mine!! David's mom and step-dad came to stay a few days and helped us get our house organized and boy did they help!!!

We had laundry coming out our ears and sadly our upstairs was a disaster area! NOT anymore. We have a floor and it's all clean. It's amazing how much stress that took off me, it was such a big task, I didn't want to attempt it. But with a little help (actually ALOT of help), we got done! David and Mike cut up trees and took a huge trash pile to the dump. So inside and out are looking great!

David and I both took off a half a day of work and we all met for a great lunch at Jason's Deli. Then off to Target to get supplies. Went home and cleaned till 6. Went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things, and then came back home to grill out, since it was warm and gorgeous!! It was a great day and we got SO much accomplished! Boy were we tired! Sadly, they had to leave this morning which leaves me and goofball to hold down the fort.

He didn't want to smile, go figure??

Easter Weekend

Well, Thursday night Bekah and Brad came to our house. We woke up and went to IHOP for breakfast/lunch. Then jumped in a little VW Beetle and headed to Wilson, NC (about 3 hours away). Needless to say we (Bekah and I) were cramped in the back hitting our head on the window every bump we went over. Finally we arrived at David's dad's house and he was very surprised. We had a great steak dinner and sat around visiting the rest of the night (except for the very scarey Wal-Mart trip we took.) Then off to bed in a twin bed!! Not comfortable! I don' t know how we ever slept in those when we had girl nights in the dorm! 7:00am bacon was frying and we were up for breakfast, then to do a little shopping and then back in the car for 3 hours! We got home around 5, took Kylie for a walk and ended up at the Sidden's house for dinner. It was a fun night.
Sunday was a great day. After church we went to the Branch's Farm for hamburgers and fun. We all played a game of Wiffle Ball and then went fishing in the pond for about 2 hours. We all caught lots of fish and had a great turn out! We love our CYP friends! Sorry, I brought my camera, but left it all day in the car, I've got to get better. I will try to "fish" up a few pics from the weekend!

Yay for Holidays!!!!

Well, tomorrow is Good Friday, so I don' t have to go to work! That 's great! Also tomorrow is apparently my 100th day of pregnancy (at least that's what pregnancy weekly says)! :) Time has flown by! We are looking forward to our family coming this week! Tonight, Bekah and Brad are coming and then going to see their dad, and we are going there too, and then on Monday, David's mom and step-dad are coming for the week! We are very excited since we haven't seen them since Thanksgiving! Should be a fun week, even though I have to work, I'll manage to see them. :)
I'll try to post pictures soon of all the events! Happy Easter to everyone!!

Belly Pics...

For those dying to see my belly, :) here ya go! I can still button my pants, but not for long! :)

I love green!

So today is so fun seeing everyone in green! It just makes me smile. I don't have too much to write about because this weekend was very low key, but was nice and relaxing. Hung out with friends the entire weekend, so it was great! Yesterday after church we had the teens over for tacos and a bond fire, so we had lots of fun with that too! :)
I have been less irritable and get spurts of energy now, so that makes me feel 100 times better! I hate having hormones, I just don't know what to do with them! :) Okay, now I am just rambling! Sorry it's so boring, I will write later when I know more! :)

152...

BPM that is! That was the 12 week 6 day heartbeat of our little baby! It was so awesome to hear it! I was anxiously awaiting this apointment cause I haven't gone to the doctor in a month, but it was a wonderful wait! The baby's heartbeat was found right away, way down right above my pubic bone. David said, "If the baby is way down there, then why is there a bump around your belly?" Yeah, hilarious! He was just kidding, but I he was standing too far away for me to hit him. :) It was a great day and hopefully now I will be a little less anxious, at least till tomorrow!! 2nd Trimester, here we come!! Wow, how time flys! :) I go May 5, to find out the sex of the baby!!! Cannot wait!!!!

I love my hubby!

Today, I just thought I would let everyone know how truly in love with David I am! I truly have married the man I know that God intended me to marry. We really do make such a great pair. He's crazy and I am too, but I also have a "boring" (as he likes to say) side of me, that calms him down when he needs it. :) We honestly love to be together and enjoy eachother's company. I honestly, have never been a very emotional or hormonal girl, but these last couple of months have taken me for a loop. I go from one extreme to another in a matter of seconds! And David, does get frustrated with me, but doesn't hold it against me and only tries to help in anyway he can. He definitely does so much of the work around the house and it helps me tremendously! Okay, I'm not trying to brag or anything like that, but I want to always remember the little things he does for me, so when I get caught up in the moment, I can just breathe and remember what a wonderful gift God has given me. I love you David, on this special day!!!
